In which you learn what we DO

We have been working together in a Connecticut Public Library since 2017 where we have collaborated with other Library Staff to develop five in-person Escape Room Fundraisers, one virtual Escape Room, a 36-person Apocalyptic Mega Game, immersive Trivia, other immersive fundraisers and events.

We are storytellers and love using games as a medium for narrative and humor. We delight in creative problem solving and lateral thinking, thematic aesthetics for immersive experiences, and engaging players to think bigger and make connections. As a team, we infuse humor, whimsy, pop culture, and the unexpected into an unrivaled user experience.

While both are degreed librarians, John has a background in theater and psychology, with some work in sports media and Kristina has a background in Children's and Young Adult Literature, throwing thematically detailed Halloween parties and generally trying to maximize efficiency.

As a side note, we are a fledgling start-up of two just beginning our journey in self-employment in this area, and must make certain sacrifices. For example, this extremely inexpensive website platform that does not allow me to left justify any of my text, adjust the image sizes, or have any actual creative input into this website. But because our effort is better put into developing the content for upcoming scheduled events, website is merely a landing place for our contact, and for you to bookmark this page for future reference.
